Busy

I was so busy today, it is now hard to adjust to the idea that tomorrow is Sunday and Sunday is not a day of rest for me. There is a youth Bible study on the first and the third Sundays of the month that I am responsible to oversee. It is right in the middle of the afternoon, so by the time we return, the day is totally gone.

I started the day by hooking up three outlets that had been waiting for a while. I had to work in the hot, dark, and very dirty attic for a while to accomplish this. I then prepared to take inventory at the store that Agape Development Ministries (ADM) runs. It is a bore of a job. Tabulate all of the items on the shelves, collect any money generated and pay the employee. I then returned and helped clean house. We are planning to have several guys stay with us Monday night because we have decided that it would be better to have the people from Kisumu stay overnight to avoid having to travel the extremely rough roads twice in one day.

I had no time to work on the biggest project that is keeping me busy right now. I am networking all of the mission computers so that we can share a DSL connection. We had previously dialed up individually to check email. But the costs were very high, so the mission board asked us if it would be possible for us to lower telecommunication costs. Sure said I. Now I am in the middle of it, and I am hoping that everything will be satisfactory for everyone.
